Will regard it with the disdain it deserves: India on Pakistan’s reference to Kashmir
India made it clear during the Security Council meeting on the Israel-Gaza conflict that Pakistan would be regarded with contempt and would not be accorded a dignified answer if it brought up the issue of Kashmir. This position was emphasized by India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador R. Ravindra.
Additionally, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed that all acts of terrorism are categorically unlawful and improper, regardless of who is carrying them out—Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hamas, Boko Haram, or ISIS, among others. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of the Security Council to denounce countries that sponsor these terrorist groups. Blinken’s remarks appeared to make reference to the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror attacks in Mumbai on November 26, 2001, which were planned from Pakistan.

The Delhi High Court argues that allowing the All India Muslim Mahapanchayat in Ramlila Maidan might lead to confrontations amongst communities.
Permission for the Delhi Police-organized ‘All India Muslim Mahapanchayat’ in the capital’s Ramleela Maidan was denied by the Delhi High Court. The event’s posters may have suggested communal connotations, which worried Justice Subramonium Prasad. The court determined that the event could not be allowed because of the simultaneous Hindu religious festivals and the known religious sensitivities in the old Delhi neighborhood where it was scheduled.
The event, which was originally scheduled for October 29 and was sponsored by “Mission Save Constitution,” received initial approval from Delhi Police before being revoked. Additionally, Ramleela Maidan’s reservation was canceled by the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD). The petitioner group should get in touch with authorities to get new authorization after the festivities, the judge advised. 26 October News Headlines given by icurrentnews.com.
