Train Accident Buxar

Train Accident; According to an official statement, at least six coaches of the North East Express, departing from Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal, derailed from the rails in Bihar’s Buxar on Wednesday night, leaving one passenger dead and numerous others wounded. As the train was traveling to Kamakhya in Assam, close to Guwahati, the event happened about 9:35 PM close to Ragunathpur station.

Sensex: The BSE Sensex closed 393.69 points higher at 66,473.05, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 climbed 121.50 points to 19,811.35.

Nifty: Following a breakthrough from an inverted head and shoulders pattern, the Nifty has pushed above the 200-period Simple Moving Average (SMA) on the hourly chart. The index is projected to keep growing in the near future. On the plus side, it may perhaps go close to the 20,000 mark.

Bank Nifty: On the weekly F&O expiry day, the Bank Nifty index stayed stable and finished 157 points higher at 44,517.(News Headlines)

On the day of expiration, the index went through a phase of consolidation, with support and resistance levels at 44,400 and 44,700 respectively. The index’s general undertone is still optimistic.

Liquor Scam Delhi

The Delhi government announced a new alcohol policy in November 2021. As a result, the cost of alcohol in Delhi significantly decreased, and shopkeepers received discounts. The BJP, however, claimed that there were anomalies in the allocation of liquor licenses that benefited a select few retailers. The Lieutenant Governor asked the Chief Secretary for a report as tensions rose in July 2022. The CBI probe was authorized in light of this information, and Manish Sisodia has been detained in connection with the same matter.

Opreation Ajay

India launched “Operation Ajay” on Wednesday to assist stranded Indians in Israel return home as fresh tensions in the area rose as a result of repeated attacks by Hamas militants on Israeli cities over the weekend. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, there are now 18,000 Indians residing in Israel.

212 Indian citizens were returned to Delhi aboard an aircraft from Israel as part of “Operation Ajay” on Friday in the midst of hostilities with Hamas. The effort was started on October 11 with help for Indians who were trapped pledged by Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. At the airport, Minister Rajiv Chandra Shekhar welcomed them and pledged to secure the safe return of each and every Indian.

Rajasthan Election New Date

Rajasthan Election New Date, The Election Commission of India changed the poll dates of Rajasthan assembly elections from November 23 to November 25.

Important dates for the legislative elections in Rajasthan were published by the Indian Election Commission. The Gazette will issue a notice on October 30. Nominations may be submitted up until November 6, and on November 7 they will be scrutinized. Until November 9, nominations can be removed. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore of the BJP and Amrita Dhawan of the Congress have praised this initiative, which attempts to boost voter turnout. The State Legislative Assembly term in Rajasthan, which comprises 200 seats, expires on January 14, 2024.
